About Us
Visalia Furmeets started in 2023, shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic. VR and other online activities kept us together, even when we were apart. As we cautiously step into the future, we felt the time was right to bring our community back into a vibrant social scene. Visalia Furmeets was created with the goal of connecting people across the Tulare county area in person once more. Currently, we offer a monthly meetup, community events, and a dedicated group chat.However, Visalia Furmeets is about so much more. It's about providing an opportunity for individuals to run their own meetups through our events calendar. It's about discovering friends you never knew you had. It's about feeling like you belong, regardless of who you are or how you express your identity.We encourage you to reach out to us if you're interested! It doesn't matter if you're new to the fandom or discovering furry for the first time. We invite you to join the fun as we celebrate this unique and colorful world we've created for ourselves.
